Huge is the only way to describe this show. Over 400,000 Sq.Ft. of exhibit space (nearly ten acres), plus more space in neighboring hotels makes for a lot of walking and some pretty sore dogs at the end of the day. With approximately 1,000 exhibits, one needs to have a plan of attack or wander the aisles aimlessly looking at chrome.
I had a plan. I prepared a prioritized list of the exhibits and people I had to or wanted to see or meet. Before the show, emails and cell numbers were exchanged with many of the great folks. I got emails from people I had never heard of who wanted to meet at the show. I only made it through 75% of the list before the show ended.
The atmosphere was electric with old friends hooking up, exhibitors shoving literature in your face as you walk by, deals being struck and plenty of scantily clad beauties luring weak men into their exhibits. Shiny chrome, flashing lights, scooters, ATVs and motorcycles was the view as far as the eye could see.
I tried to visit most of the exhibits that would be of the most interest the good folks who visit this website.
