Tank Booth
This is a booth I was eager to visit. I watch the Tank Yahoo Board and have gotten to know a lot of Tank owners. I also have had opportunity to ride two of the Tank 150 models. Tank is selling like hotcakes due to the inexpensive price.
The Tank booth was not well planned or organized. The rep I spoke with was not knowledgeable and my B.S. sniffer was picking up B.S. When I asked what set Tank apart from the other Chinese clones, he said "quality". When I asked for specifics, he could give none. When I asked about parts and warranty, the answers he provided did not match what I've seen posted on the boards by owners and dealers. Maybe it was just the rep I talked to, but I got no sense of vision.
To be fair, it is a young company and I'm sure they are experiencing growing pains, but I get the impression that they are not well managed. Just my opinion. If you are a Tank owner, please don't take offense. A lot of Tank owners are quite happy and if you know how to turn a wrench they are probably a good value.
