Strada Display

The Strada display was impressive.  Nice fit & finish on all the bikes.  They also had a small display of some of the performance upgrades they offer.  MotoStrada seems to really target riders who like performance, bling and gadgets.  How much of it is hype and how much of it really works, I don't know.  They have a new GY6 with a four valve head that they say adds some real oomph.  They also have the new RX150i that they say is a totally new GY6 based engine.

One thing I know is that in visiting with MotoStrada's President Alan Leson, I could tell that he knew GY6 better than anyone I've ever met.  I got so caught up discussing tech issues with these guys that I didn't have a chance to find out more about the company.  I certainly got the impression that they are about selling scooters and at least have the appearance of offering innovation.  From what I've seen on Internet user's groups, most consumers are pretty pleased with Strada products.  Brett Moore from Strada made a commitment to send one of these to the Dawg for review and so I could have a good feel for their products in my updated Buyer's Guide.

Alan wanted to make sure that I got the blue tire in the picture.  Like I say, these guys like bling.  He was telling me about the re-design of this engine but he was talking fast.  Next year, I'll take a tape recorder!
